Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Krist Francisco. In 2010, while serving in Afghanistan, a 500-pound IED ended his military career. Lucky to be alive, but with a Traumatic brain injury, PTSD, heart damage and more – it was a long road back. After months of physical rehab, Krist needed more and he found it in hockey. He joined a team filled with Veterans just like him and found the camaraderie he needed. Enjoy the ice Krist and THANK YOU for your service.
