UPDATE: Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting Friday in southeast Wichita.
A 24-year-old Wichita man was booked into jail on charges of felony murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle. Police said late Saturday that he was found and arrested without incident.
The shooting happened in the 7000 block of E. Lincoln around 2:15 Friday afternoon. 911 received several calls reporting a vehicle crashing into building during a shooting. Officers found the victim inside a red GMC Yukon with an apparent gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were attempted, but the victim was pronounced dead on the scene. He has been identified as 49-year-old Chris Baker of Wichita.
