Hutchinson Police arrested two women in connection to a fatal fentanyl overdose.
Authorities said the incident happened in early 2023 in Hutchinson.
The 36-year-old Christa Redd and 26-year-old Mariah Lamunyon were arrested on June 20th and June 21st, respectively. They were each booked on 7 counts, which included distributing a controlled substance causing death, distributing a controlled substance causing great bodily harm, and unlawful distribution of a controlled substance using a communication device.
