Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors a group of Veterans who just finished a 105-mile hike from Whiteman AFB in Warrensburg, Missouri to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. These Veterans not only challenged themselves physically for others to bring awareness to PTSD, but also to work and walk through their own struggles, like PTSD and substance abuse. June is PTSD Awareness Month and these Veterans found a perfect way to high light it. Congratulations on finishing your walk and THANKY YOU for your service.
Also on this day we celebrate the Army’s Birthday and the Flag as today is also Nation Flag Day!
