Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute remembers Army Veteran Ret. Lt. Col, William “Tex” Titterington. Tex proudly served his country in the Army and went on to serve his community as a Clearwater City Council member. He loved to help people and Sunday night Tex was on his way back from placing flags on veteran gravesites over Memorial Day Weekend. Sadly, Tex lost his life after a tragic car accident in rural Sumner County just north of Caldwell. Conway Springs EMS issued a statement saying “Councilman Titterington’s commitment and contributions will always be remembered and cherished. May his legacy inspire others to continue his selfless spirit of service.” Rest easy Tex, and THANK YOU for your service.
