Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors WWII Veteran Fred Taylor.  In 1943, Fred was deployed during WWII to serve with the Army Air Corp Reserve.  It was that deployment that prevented him from attending his 1943 graduation at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Sure, it had been talked about for some years, but Fred said he was surprised when he found out that his daughter made the arrangements this year, and just the other day, the 101-year-old Veteran was able to walk across that stage and receive his degree in music. Congratulations Fred and THANK YOU for your service.
