Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors 95-year-old Veteran Wilbur Nachtigal. Wilbur would have been a member of the Halstead graduating class of 1946. However, he left high school at 17 to serve in World War II. The Private First-Class Marine finally was awarded his long awaited diploma on Saturday. Wilbur said it was really something special, we agree Wilbur. Congratulations on your diploma and THANK YOU for your service.
