It’s hard to lose a parent no matter how old you are. I lost my mom when I was just 14. That’s why when you think about calling your mom – you should do it – right then. We only have so much time with them on earth.
Chris first wrote ‘Bye Mom’ with his close friend Brandon Kinney who was dealing with the recent loss of his mother. Chris witnessed what his friend was going through. ‘Bye Mom’ reminds us of the unconditional love we’re given the moment of our birth. How strong that love stays throughout our lives. It’s truly a blessing.
This video hits the heart pretty hard. It’s the story of a mother and child over time. The video walks us through how we say ‘Bye mom’ for the first time getting on the bus, learning to drive, at graduation, and ultimately the final graveside parting.
