A Wichita man was killed late Thursday night when his motorcycle went out of control and crashed in a construction area on Interstate 235.
The crash was reported around 10:30 p.m. on I-235 south of Kellogg, near mile marker 6.2. Troopers said 33-year-old Ryan Tholen was riding south in an area that was down to one lane because of construction. He went into a closed right lane and hit a cut-out section of roadway, then went out of control and hit another cut out section.
Tholen was pronounced dead at a hospital.
