Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors 77-year-old U.S. Army Veteran, Robert Heckinger of Tucson. Robert took his first college class in 1969 after he returned home from the draft, but never graduated. Yesterday, decades after that first class, Robert became a proud graduate, walking across the stage during the graduation ceremonies at Southern New Hampshire University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in General Studies.  Robert says he plans to teach and inspire others with his new degree.  Congratulations Robert and THANK YOU for your service.
