I have a soft spot for animals of all kinds and appreciate the people who help rescue and care for them. An American Bald Eagle hurt in the Chase County Tornado had a broken wing. The bird was discovered when volunteers were doing debris cleanup.
The Eagle ended up with Operation Wildlife here in Linwood Kansas. They did surgery to repair the wing. Looks like it was successful and our symbol of Freedom is on the way to recovering. Great work!
Operation Wildlife is the largest publicly funded wildlife rehab facility in Linwood, Kansas. They accept donations to help the owls, red foxes, bunnies, and critters of all kinds return to the wild.
