No injuries were reported following a large garage fire at home in rural Butler County Friday afternoon.
The El Dorado Fire Department responded to the 5700 block of N.E 10th St., southeast of El Dorado Lake just off Highway 177. The fire started in a metal outbuilding before spreading to the garage and a garden shed.
The fire became so intense that propane tanks on the property began to explode, causing extensive damage. The fire destroyed the garage, a metal carport, an outbuilding, two vehicles, a camper and an aluminum boat.
Everyone inside the home was safely evacuated and no one was hurt.
