The Derby school board voted Monday evening to reverse a decision it had made a week earlier, and they voted to extend contracts for Superintendent Heather Bohaty and Assistant Superintendents Becky Moeder and Holly Putnam-Jackson.
The board voted 4-2 on February 13th not to extend the contracts for the three administrators, which would have ended the contracts at the end of the 2023-24 school year.
A large number of parents filled the meeting room Monday night to show support for the administrators, and the board voted 5-2 to extend the contracts after a three-hour executive session.
