A Salina woman was killed and two other people, including a Wichita woman, were injured in an early morning crash in Salina.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash was reported around 1 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 135 just south of Waterwell Road in Salina.   A southbound pickup driven by a 20-year-old Wichita woman crossed a center median and hit a second pickup on the shoulder of the northbound lanes.  The second pickup then caught fire.

A passenger in the second pickup, 26-year-old Daisha Endsley of Salina, was killed.  The 41-year-old man driving that pickup was taken to a Salina hospital with serious injuries.

The Wichita woman in the first pickup was transferred to a Wichita hospital with serious injuries.
