The city of Belle Plaine says water service was restored around 5 a.m. today.
After a water main broke yesterday, service was shut off so repairs could be made. Because there was a broken line, residents were asked to be prepared for a Boil Water Advisory, which was issued shortly after 10 a.m. today. Belle Plaine residents are urged to take the following precautions.
The advisory will be lifted once tests confirm there is no contamination of the city’s water supply.
