The driver of a pickup was taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries after he hit a couple of vehicles and then went off an interstate highway into a canal in north Wichita.
The crash was reported on southbound I-135 near 13th Street North around 4 p.m. Thursday. A pickup hit two vehicles and then went off the elevated highway and down into a canal.
Traffic was backed up to 21st Street North after the crash. The southbound lanes were shut down for a brief time but then traffic was allowed to move slowly through the area of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
