On Friday, the Kansas Supreme Court ruled to suspend the law license of Wichita attorney Brad Pistotnik for one year. Pistotnik is an owner of the “Bull Attorneys” law firm.
The suspension stems from a 2018 cyber crimes case. Prosecutors allege that he, along with software engineer David Dorsett, threatened websites that posted negative comments about Pistotnik.
Pistotnik pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in 2019 and was fined $375,000. Dorsett pleaded guilty to 2 counts of making extortionate threats via the internet and in 2020 was sentenced to 3 years of probation and was fined $2,000.
