A Wichita man has been ordered to stand trial for a fatal Labor Day shooting at a night club in the Old Town district.
A status hearing is scheduled next month for 23-year-old Keyshawn Dawson. He is charged with first degree murder, aggravated battery and other counts in connection with a September 7th shooting at the Enigma club. The shooting resulted in the death of 34-year-old Preston Spencer, and six other people were injured.
Police said Dawson was told to leave the club after a fight. He returned later and shots were fired into the club from outside. Dawson left Wichita after the shooting and he was arrested in October in Phoenix, Arizona.
