The Star Spangled Salute is presented by
Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran and Nurse Kim Delaune. Kim says that ever since 2nd grade she wanted to be in the military and be a nurse. Kim served in the Marine Corp from 1997-2005, has been a part of the Army National Guard since 2005, has been a nurse for 14 years and was recently honored by the Nevada Department of Veterans Services, naming her the November 2021 Employee Veteran of the Month for her work at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City during the pandemic and for her passion, skill and talent as a nurse.
