In a press release issued Tuesday, Kansas Senator Roger Marshall announced the launch of an email address to help Kansans seeking evacuation assistance from Afghanistan.
Amid U.S. Military troop withdrawal and continued Taliban takeover of the region–Marshall said that any Kansan who may have a friend, loved one, or colleague who is an American citizen still in Afghanistan, or an Afghan SIV applicant, can contact his office at EvacHelp@Marshall.Senate.Gov, or call (785) 829-9000.
Marshall’s Office says they are in close contact with the U.S. Department of State to assist with evacuation efforts. He added that anyone who contacts his office through the email or phone number above will be provided with information and instructions by staff on the process of safely evacuating Americans from Afghanistan.
