The Salvation Army is working with the DMV to host a license renewal and replacement event in Wichita.
This is happening Wednesday, July 28, at the Salvation Army Koch campus, at 3rd and Market. This runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and 1 p.m. to 3:30. Along with license services, COVID shots will also be offered. No appointment is needed to get a shot.
“An opportunity like this”, Vehicle Mobile Coordinator Ethan M. Davis explains, “is definitely beneficial to those who may not be able to take the time to go to a local DMV office and wait in line, or for those who may not be able to wait 2 weeks to get in to an appointment. It’s centrally located in the downtown Wichita area, which will make it ideal for
those who only have available time during their lunch break, or for those who travel down town to work but who may not have a vehicle to utilize during the work day to travel across town.”
You will need to make an appointment to get your license renewed or replaced. Do that by going to SCHEDDL.KSREVENUE.ORG.
This event will give you an opportunity to:
- Renew current Kansas ID or Kansas Driver’s License.
- Replace Lost/Stolen Kansas ID or Kansas Driver’s License.
- Update address or make legal name changes on credentials.
- Issue Real ID Indicators.
- Issue new state credentials for anyone who may have moved here from out of state.
