The Kansas Food Bank announced it has received a $70,000 grant from Bank of America to help distribute food to Wichita families each month.
The grant will help the organization continue its partnership with Salud Mas Bienstar to deliver food through a mobile food pantry on the first Friday of every month at the Evergreen Neighborhood Resource Center.
The mobile food pantry serves roughly 300 households per month, including 600 children and 145 seniors.
