The Star Spangled Salute is presented by

Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors South Carolina Firefighter Bobby Davidson and the Veteran he helped on an American Airlines flight.  The two were flying on an American flight, Bobby with his family, when the Veteran was in distress from a PTSD episode.  Bobby, who was part of a specially trained team to help with tragedy and PTSD and he was able to help and prevent the flight from being diverted and making an emergency landing.  American Airlines sent a formal letter to Bobby’s department, thanking him for his help.  Thank you Bobby for being a helper and to that Veteran, THANK YOU for your service.
