Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors the organizations Veterans United and Dream Flights and the Veterans they helped into the air.   To honor Veterans during Military Appreciation Month, they put together an exciting experience where they would get to fly in a fully restored Boeing Stearman Biplane, which was the training plane for pilots before heading into battle in World War II.  Since Covid-19 grounded much of their giving last year, Veterans United and Dream Flights were excited for this opportunity.  So far, the organizations have completed about 1,000 flights for Veterans from across the country.  To those groups we say thank you and to the Veterans they are helping, THANK YOU for your service.
