The president and CEO of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce is stepping down in April.
Gary Plummer says he will leave office on April 2nd, and he will return to Jefferson City, Missouri to serve as president and CEO of the Chamber organization there. Plummer previously served as the Jefferson City Chamber president from 1988 to 1997. He said his family has had a food truck business there.
Plummer said in a press release that he and his family have thoroughly enjoyed the past nine years in Wichita, and he has had the opportunity to work with an outstanding staff and many wonderful business and community leaders.
Scott Schwindaman, past chairman of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce Board, will step into an interim leadership role while the Chamber searches for a new president.
