A stolen vehicle caused a brief lockdown at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita Tuesday morning.
Base officials said an underage person was in a vehicle that refused to stop at an entrance gate around 6 a.m., and the vehicle was stopped by security measures. The driver ran away but was taken into custody a short time later.
Most gates at the base reopened later in the morning.
