A large fire led to the collapse of a roof in a downtown Wichita strip mall unit.
The fire was first reported around 2 a.m. Wednesday, in a building near Central and Cleveland, between Hydraulic and Washington.
No injuries were reported from the fire, but it was big enough that crews had to fight it from the outside. The roof of the unit involved in the fire caved in, along with a couple walls, though damage to surrounding units appears relatively minor.
Investigators are working to find how the fire started.
