The parent company of the Gordmans chain of discount stores has announced plans to close its two stores in Wichita and others across the country.
Gordmans filed for bankruptcy in 2017 and was then purchased by Stage Stores, based in Houston, Texas. The company has been announcing closings of stores across the country over the past week.
The Gordmans location near 21st and Rock Road will close on May 30th. A closing date has not been announced for the west side store near Central and Tyler Road.
