Officials at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility have ordered a lockdown with limited movement for the Central Unit, after an inmate disturbance on Tuesday.
Five correctional officers were injured during the disturbance, and they received medical treatment. The inmates involved in the disturbance have been placed in restrictive housing while an investigation is underway.
Weekend visitation has been canceled for the Central Unit, starting February 8th. Officials will decide later if the normal visitation schedule can be resumed. Visitation at the East and South units will still be allowed.
