A summer basketball event will be back in Wichita for the second year in a row.  The Basketball Tournament has announced that Wichita will be one of the 2020 regional sites for its seventh annual tournament.

The games will be played July 30th through August 2nd at Charles Koch Arena, where the tournament games set attendance records for four straight days in 2019.   The opening night drew a record crowd of 7,184 fans.

The AfterShocks team will return to the TBT this year, with former Wichita State players Toure Murry, Clevin Hannah, Shaq Morris, Conner Frankamp, Rashard Kelly, Joe Ragland, Tekele Cotton and J.T. Durley.

TBT features a 64-team bracket of professional basketball teams, featuring college alumni teams, international basketball stars, former and future NBA players and others competing for a winner-take-all $2 million prize.  The games will be broadcast on the ESPN networks, and Wichita State University will serve as the host venue.  Tickets are on sale now through the WSU Ticket Office, with prices as low as $30 for an all-session pass.

The application period for teams interested in competing in Wichita will open on March 15th.
