The northern Kansas county of Jewell received a strange visitor this week.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism saws an employee was able to snap a photo of a young bull moose near the Republican River, close to the Nebraska state line. The moose is believed to have crossed the border into Kansas from Nebraska.
The agency posted the photo to their Facebook page. It is illegal to hunt the animal in Kansas.
