Three teens are facing charges after two Dollar Generals were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.
The store at 29th and Broadway lost cash in a robbery around 7:50 p.m. Three people left and got into a car, and a witness caught the tag number. This led to a 19-year-old suspect near 13th and Mt. Carmel, who was caught after running on foot.
While the 19-year-old was being arrested it was learned the Dollar General nearby, at 13th and Meridian had been robbed. Officers searched the area and found a 16 and 18-year-old suspect.
The suspects are each facing two charges of aggravated robbery and the 16-year-old is also charged with being a juvenile in possession of a gun.
Cash and a handgun were recovered. No employees were hurt in either robbery.
