Wichita and WSU have been selected as one of four host sites for the NCAA College Basketball Academies, which will take place in late July of 2020.

The Academies are intended to give prospective high school student-athletes a glimpse into the college basketball experience while being evaluated by college coaches.

The other three sites are Utah, Winthrop University and U-Conn.

Wichita will now be hosting NCAA College Basketball events for three years in a row.  The Academy in 2020, the 1st and 2nd rounds of the Men’s Div. I Tournament in 2021 and the Women’s Div. I Tournament in 2022.
