The first opportunity for the public to share their vision for the east bank of the Arkansas River will be at an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at The Wichita Boathouse at 515 S. Wichita. A brief presentation is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Members from the local coalition funding the plan, a team from Populous, the global design firm selected to lead the planning process, as well as RCLCO Real Estate Advisors and Olin Design, will provide an overview of what to expect over the next few months and answer questions about the comprehensive plan. During the open house, people will be encouraged to share their vision for the area through interactive
opportunities. There will be additional open houses and engagement meetings and an opportunity for input through the website riverfrontlegacywichita.org.
