The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and the National Park Services have joined together to provide “America the Beautiful” passes to disabled veterans.
The passes give free access to over 2,000 federal recreation sites across the U.S., including all national parks. The pass covers entrance fees at national parks, wildlife refuges and national forests. They can also be used for day use fees at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
All Veterans have to do to gain the pass is to prove they have a disability. They are also free to all U.S. Citizens who have been medically determined to have a permanent disability.
