Truesdell Middle School in Wichita, is one of 100 national finalists in the Team America Rocketry Challenge, to be held next month.
Student rocketeers from across the country will compete for more than $100,000 in prizes and a chance to represent the U.S. at the global finals.
The competition requires a team to launch a rocket carrying three raw eggs that must reach at altitude of over 800 feet and returning the uncracked eggs to earth.
The Truesdell Team is being advised by Bill Lindsay.
