The new site is part of an overall recruitment campaign for the county, with special consideration for positions with historically high turnover, or that require specialized training. The new website will also assist the county when communicating with potential employees and will interact with major job sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Users may apply for jobs at https://careers.sedgwickcounty.org. The site will also feature several career paths with Sedgwick County including corrections officers, dieticians, maintenance employees, IT specialists, and zoo keepers.
