Storm Team 12 meteorologist Merril Teller announced he plans to retire this summer.
Teller has been a meteorologist with Channel 12 for 38 years, since 1981. He brought updates to viewers during major storms in Kansas over the decades, including coverage of tornadoes in Hesston, Andover, Haysville and Greensburg.
Teller said he plans to start his retirement with a trip to Italy. He will give his last forecast at KWCH on July 26th.
