A Wichita man has been indicted in federal court, accused of threatening employees of the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Wichita says 22-year-old Christopher M. Thompson has been charged with 4 counts of making threats to injure a person. Thompson is accused of calling Operation Rescue on August 14 of last year and threatening to kill Operation Rescue employees and sexually assault their daughters.
If convicted, Thompson faces up to 5 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $750,000. The FBI and Wichita Police Department investigated the case.
