Police in Newton are investigating a threatening message that was found by a student at Newton High School.
In separate posts on social media, Newton police and the Newton School District said the threat was found on school grounds Thursday. The note had a threat of a violent incident on December 10th.
The school district says it’s working with the police department and taking steps to make sure students are safe, but there’s no indication if that will mean an increased police presence.
