From September of 1964 until June 4, 1999, “Ol’ Mike” Oatman held down the morning show on KFDI AM and FM, in addition to being station manager, CEO and co-owner of Great Empire Broadcasting with partner F.F. Mike Lynch. His final morning show turned into a tribute to his career, with a parade of well-wishers that included family, friends, staff, advertisers, civic officials, and Country artists.
