Two people were injured in a northwest Wichita crash that happened during a chase.
Police said a van was stolen near Douglas and Martinson and officers tried to pull the vehicle over, but it sped away and crashed near 11th and Meridian. Police officers and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene. They said the van went out of control and rolled one time, coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver, a 42-year-old North Carolina man, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, a 52-year-old woman from Owasso, Oklahoma, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
