A man who was reported missing a week ago in Marion County has been found dead.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the discovery of 38-year-old James Lightfoot, who was reported missing June 19th. His pickup was found partially submerged in a pond west of Marion Reservoir on June 24th and a deputy learned that the owner had been reported missing from Sedgwick County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol and a K-9 search team from Sedgwick County made a search of the area on Wednesday and found the body. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation was called to the scene to help with the identification.
The Sheriff’s Office said there was no indication of foul play.
