Field survey work for the next segment of the East Kellogg expansion project will begin this week.
The Kansas Department of Transportation said the survey work will be done on Kellogg from 159th Street East to Prairie Creek Road in Butler County. A member of the survey crew will contact property owners or tenants for permission to enter private property if access is needed. Crews will use survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features within the survey corridor.
The survey is expected to be finished by early December, and it will gather information for the continued expansion of East Kellogg to six lanes into the Andover area.
