Today, we honor Vietnam Veteran Larry Morganti and an incredible story that reunited him with something special.  Larry served in Vietnam in 1968 and lost his dog tags while there. Fast forward to this year when Larry, who is an artist, was featured on a local facebook page in March.  What he didn’t know was that a man from Sweden named Kristoffer had found one of his dog tags two years ago while metal detecting in Vietnam and had been trying to find Larry ever since. “To have something that you lost 56 years ago and really have forgotten about it, and then to surface again, that’s the that’s a miracle,” Morganti said. Kristoffer sent the dog tag in the mail with a letter that said, “Dear Larry, thank you for your service and welcome home, I hope that this letter finds you well. And look at you today.”  Congratulations on a finding a piece of your history Larry and THANK YOU for your service.
