Police in Abilene, Kansas said a reading from a Flock license plate reader led them to the recovery of a kidnapped five-month-old child from Minnesota.
Officers found the vehicle Thursday evening in the 2100 block of North Buckeye, and they discovered that the child had been taken from Minnesota by a non-custodial parent.
In a social media post, police said the child was taken into protective custody and arrangements are being made to return the child to Minnesota.
