Crews were called to a fire at a vacant church building in south Wichita early Saturday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 1 p.m. in the 900 block of South Topeka. Crews reported seeing flames with several fires throughout the building.
The fires were brought under control in a short time and no injuries were reported.
Grace United Methodist Church was located in the building, but the church closed in 2015 because of declining attendance.
